I’m Kateřina Kostková, a family photographer focused on creating natural, emotive images that don’t feel posed but rather reflect the truth of your everyday life. My work is rooted in empathy — I believe genuine moments of laughter, touch and family warmth appear only in a relaxed atmosphere. I specialize in family photography and children’s portraits, including newborn and toddler sessions. I love capturing both small and large family stories: playing at the park, reading a favorite book at home, baking together, or a simple embrace on a walk. My sessions are mainly lifestyle-oriented — I let time flow, encourage natural emotions with gentle prompts and playful games for children, avoiding stressful, rigid posing. How does a session with me work? Shoots can take place outdoors in nature or in the comfort of your home — I just need good natural daylight. I have a patient approach with children, and we invent games and activities so the session becomes an enjoyable experience for everyone rather than a chore. I respect authenticity and avoid excessive retouching — I edit images to present the true people in them, not a heavily altered version. In addition to family and newborn sessions, I photograph children’s events such as christenings, first birthdays and family celebrations — always with sensitivity and a focus on natural storytelling.
