I am Ladislav Otáhal — a family photographer in heart and soul, based in Klášterec nad Ohří and regularly working throughout the surrounding area and other parts of the Czech Republic. My work focuses on what people value most in photographs: genuine emotions, small moments and the atmosphere that turns every family into a unique story. I shoot so the final images feel real — without stiff poses or stress, with ease and joy. I specialize in family photography and I know how to work with children and newborns. A children photographer must have patience, a sense of humor and quick reflexes — and those qualities define my approach. Whether in the studio or outdoors, I look for the light, mood and spontaneous moments that arise during play, hugs or quiet conversations. Newborn photography and baby sessions are handled with great care and safety as the top priority; I approach these shoots gently and calmly so both parents and babies have a comfortable experience. My aim is not just to "take a picture" of your family — I want to tell its story. That’s why I lead sessions in a way that creates an atmosphere of trust and ease: I like a few toys, laughter and moments when the family simply enjoys being together. This approach produces authentic, warm images full of emotion that you’ll want to look at again and again and share with future generations. As a father of two daughters, I deeply appreciate how important the small, fleeting moments are. My working style is friendly, relaxed and tailored to each family and individual — from playful children to newborns and expectant mothers (maternity).
