I’m Michaela Friebelová and family photography is both my passion and my profession. After years working in travel photography, I discovered that what fulfills me most is capturing people—both the small and the grown-up—and those fleeting moments that won’t come back. Based in Modřany, I work as a family photographer to create authentic, lasting reminders of your life together. Why choose me? My approach is grounded in empathy, patience and gentle guidance. I work with families naturally—without excessive posing—so I can capture real emotions, small touches and spontaneous smiles. Children relax quickly with me; they often behave as if a friend has come to visit rather than a photographer, and that ease is the key to producing sincere images you’ll want to print and hang at home. How I work: first we’ll have a call or discuss ideas by email or message—then we’ll agree on the location, time and the mood you want for the photos. I prefer shooting outdoors in the soft light of the golden hour, but at-home sessions have their own charm, especially for families with young children or for maternity photography. During the session I lead situations gently and unobtrusively, offering simple pose ideas while above all creating space for play and shared moments. After the shoot I manage the selection and careful editing of the images so the final collection reflects my soft, emotive style. My work is about stories—about relationships between parents and children, the anticipation of pregnancy and the little daily rituals worth preserving. I enjoy photographing whole families as well as individual children, capturing moments both at home and in nature.
