My name is Petra Veverková and family photography is my greatest passion. Under the Kamino Foto name I focus primarily on family photography — children, newborns, parent-and-child portraits and special moments such as christenings or first birthdays. My approach is guided by the motto “just for joy”: I’m not aiming for prestige exhibitions but for photos that warm your family album, hang on your wall, or become a cherished gift. I photograph naturally and unobtrusively — I strive to create a relaxed atmosphere where children can be themselves and adults don’t feel awkward. I mainly work outdoors and in-home (lifestyle) sessions, but I also have a studio for calmer or themed shoots. I use full-frame Nikon DSLRs and fast prime lenses that allow me to capture subtle expressions and the natural rendering of faces. Working together is simple and human: we arrange the date and location according to your family dynamics, and during the session I emphasize play, small friendly prompts and spontaneous moments that unfold. After the shoot I send previews via a secure gallery; you choose the images and I then apply sensitive retouching — preserving naturalness, addressing small imperfections and offering premium retouching options when needed. Besides family photography I occasionally document social events and weddings, but my main specialization remains families and children. I’m also active in charitable work and collaborate with organizations such as Fond ohrožených dětí (Fund for Endangered Children) and Dotek světla (Touch of Light) — photography for me is not only a job but a way to spread joy.
