I’m Aleš — a family photographer based in České Budějovice, and family photography is my main focus. My work is about capturing real, unposed moments: smiles, small touches, mischievous glances from children and the quiet embraces of parents. I see photography as a way to preserve the power of a moment and the emotions that would otherwise fade. My approach combines a reportage sensibility with gentle direction. I aim to keep the session natural and relaxed — I let you be yourselves while offering light prompts and ideas for beautiful images. This balance creates photographs that feel authentic and that you’ll proudly display at home or share with loved ones. I work both in my studio in central České Budějovice and on outdoor, favourite locations. The studio is styled in natural tones with soft light, flowers and props for children — an ideal spot for relaxed family and newborn photography when the weather isn’t on our side. Outdoors I look for natural settings and light that bring energy and atmosphere to the images. I specialize in family photography: children, families, newborns, christenings, holiday moments and birthdays. As a family photographer I place great importance on patience, clear and friendly communication, and a feeling of safety — especially with small children and babies. I’m not focused on perfect poses, but on the story your family tells. How does a session work? First we talk about your ideas and choose the best location and style. During the shoot I create a friendly atmosphere, move at the children’s pace and work respectfully. After editing, you’ll receive a selection of retouched images ready for print and sharing.
