Hi — I’m Karolína (Kája) Petrášková and family photography is my passion. I primarily photograph around Příbram and Dobříš, and my aim is to capture those small everyday moments that will become treasured memories. I’ve been doing this for several years and approach family photography with the same care I give to portrait and newborn photography. My style is natural, warm and based on natural light — I love sunsets, meadows, forests and places where you can move freely and be yourselves. I don’t use a studio as my main stage; my studio is a walk in nature. That’s where relaxed, authentic images full of laughter, genuine emotion and movement are created. My goal isn’t to pose you into a box, but to create an atmosphere where families feel comfortable and stress-free. How do I work? I’m friendly, patient and always prioritise the comfort of both children and parents. Before the session I send practical tips on clothing and location. Whether we shoot at home or outdoors, I encourage a playful atmosphere — and with babies I adapt to their routine and work gently with time so everything proceeds calmly. After the shoot I send previews so you can easily choose your favourite images; final edited photos are delivered in print-ready quality. In editing I respect real colours with a warm undertone and gently soften minor imperfections so the photos look natural — always in a way that you will recognise yourselves. I respect your wishes regarding the extent of retouching and I’m happy to advise on printing or gift packaging.
