I’m Bára, and family photography is one of my main passions — I approach it with joy and genuine enthusiasm. As a photographer of natural portraits, I aim to create a space where families can be free, spontaneous and without pretense. Those small, unforced moments — laughter, hugs, the tiny gestures exchanged between loved ones — are the most valuable things I strive to capture. My work is based on sensitive, unobtrusive guidance. I don’t need complicated poses — I prefer gentle prompts, a walk in nature, playful tasks or simple conversation that lead to authentic expressions and natural compositions. I primarily photograph outdoors using natural light, where I can use the atmosphere of a place and soft tones to achieve an authentic result. I edit images with a light hand so colors remain true and the final photos never feel over-processed. I work with families of all kinds — couples, parents with children, and extended families. I approach each session as a meeting, not a routine job: I like to discuss your ideas in advance, listen to what matters to you, and together we’ll find locations and a style that suit you. During the shoot I focus on creating a comfortable atmosphere — whether you’re used to being in front of the camera or a little shy, I’ll help you find ease and naturalness. I’m based mainly in Mladá Boleslav and the surrounding area, and I’m happy to advise on suitable locations and timing so that the light and environment enhance the mood of the images. I approach family photography as capturing memories meant to last — it’s important to me to record authenticity and the relationships that make up your family.
