Hello, I’m Jiří Šupej — photography is both my passion and my life’s path. Every photo tells a story, and my aim is to capture yours: genuine emotions between family members, a baby’s first smiles, or the joy of a birthday. With children and newborns I prioritize safety and patience; my wife Kateřina often assists during newborn sessions, helping create a calm environment where the baby can naturally show their personality. My photographic style is natural and unobtrusive. I avoid heavy-handed stylization — I edit images to enhance expression, atmosphere and the moment’s colours rather than to transform them. Clients select the images they want retouched; I then carefully refine skin, crop and colour to deliver authentic, timeless photographs. How does the process work? First we agree on location and time and discuss your ideas, clothing tips and any props you’d like to use. During the session I aim to foster a friendly, easygoing atmosphere — I have tried-and-true techniques to help children relax and engage. After the shoot you choose the photos for retouching, and I return professionally finished digital files ready for printing or sharing.
