I’m Dominik Hornik — a family photographer based near Mělník, focused on capturing natural, honest moments. I discovered photography in 2020 thanks to my now-wife, and since then I’ve loved photographing people. As a husband and father, my own family life has taught me how to work with children, give them space and capture authentic expressions without stress. Why choose me? My approach is warm, open and relaxed — I prefer a friendly, informal atmosphere so the session feels more like a pleasant walk than a formal appointment. With patience and practice I tailor the shoot to even the smallest family members, handling high-energy moments as well as calm, intimate portraits. I aim to photograph relationships, emotions and atmosphere, not just poses. How I work: we start with a friendly conversation about your family, the places you love and what you’d like to have on your photos. During the session I create a relaxed environment and guide gently and naturally so authentic moments emerge. After the shoot you’ll receive edited photos via an online gallery, making it easy to view and share your images. I specialize primarily in family photography and children’s photography — this is my core area where I have the most experience and sensitivity. I also have experience with maternity photography and documenting family events, so I can flexibly adapt my approach and tone to capture other meaningful moments in your life.
