I’m Barbora Horká and family photography is my passion. I work in Kralupy nad Vltavou, Nelahozeves and the surrounding Prague area, and I base my work on a simple principle: to capture real emotions and natural relationships without stiff posing. As a mother of a little boy and girl, I know how quickly time flies — that’s why I want your photos to become true memories you’ll enjoy for years to come. My style is lifestyle photography — I prefer natural moments, play, laughter and gentle touches over perfect poses. When working with children I often “jump in” with games, playful prompts and simple relaxation activities so families feel comfortable and relaxed. I pay close attention to light (I often shoot at golden hour), composition and those small moments that tell the story of your family. The images should speak about your life — relationships, joys and everyday details. I communicate openly and practically with clients. Before a session I like to talk about your expectations, recommend suitable clothing and can lend dresses to create a harmonious look. Sessions can take place outdoors at my chosen locations or in your home — wherever you feel most at ease. I work both quickly and patiently, adapting the pace to children and newborns, and always prioritise the safety and comfort of my smallest clients.
