My work is about capturing the connection between people. My name is Lukáš Zima and as a family photographer I specialize in creating honest, timeless images that tell the story of your family. I am based in Brandýs nad Labem–Stará Boleslav and I’m happy to travel to nearby locations across the Czech Republic. I focus on naturalness and emotion — searching for moments that reveal relationships, joy and tenderness. I approach sessions with children and newborns patiently and respectfully, adapting to their pace; I turn family gatherings into calm, playful experiences that result in photographs you'll enjoy looking back on for years to come. My approach is gentle and communicative: before the session we discuss your ideas, location and the atmosphere you want to create. During the shoot I strive to build a relaxed environment so natural moments can emerge. After the session I provide online previews for you to choose the images you want edited — you select your favorites, I perform subtle retouching and deliver final high-resolution files ready for print. I specialize in family reportage, children’s photography, newborn sessions and family portraits, with the primary goal of documenting genuine bonds between people. Outside of family work I also photograph weddings and produce video, but family photography remains at the heart of my practice — you can rely on an experienced, personal approach. I shoot with professional Sony equipment and pay careful attention to sensitive color treatment and emotional expression.
